In case you haven't been updated on my life, the boys and I will have much more time together. I'm currently doing freelance blog work for my near-n-dear friends at Nature's Child.
But now the real work begins!
Elijah, Lucian, and I will use this time to live life peacefully every day. Together with Arabelle and Mark, we'll explore the farmland around us, work on our country home, and grow our own food.
It's important to us that we live a natural, minimally chemical life, and I'll certainly still be following all of those issues. Chemicals such as bisphenol-A, phthalates, formaldehyde, and heavy metals are leaving a legacy of harm on our children. I follow developments with these creepies, and I will continue to bring it to the forefront for discussion.
Here at this blogspot is where I can post some of my real-world tips on living greener. We all have flaws, myself included (does anyone want to mark the time and date on that?!), but in trying to shrink our carbon footprints, we also have to be realistic. "Green" living isn't green if you trash all you currently have to buy organic high-priced items. That said, there are ways that you can fit thoughtful, natural, eco-minded purchases into your budget. I'll focus on that here, too.
And don't forget family: these critters are growing so fast, and I want everyone to be able to keep up! Whether you feel like you're missing out on Arabelle's sweet sassiness, Elijah's dinosaur-tooth grin, or Lucian's tinker toy creations, here's where you can get your kid fix.
Please join me as I chronicle this natural, crazy life. And I love a good discussion, so pass it on...
